HotAir System
Annoyed by just thinking about having to put the dishes somewhere to dry after taking them from the dishwasher? No longer! The HotAir System dries the dishes in the dishwasher by water flash-off and condensation. The water is hot from the high temperature of the last rinse, and flashes off the dishes. The dishwasher interior and the air inside are hot, while the dishes remain dry. Clean, dry, convenient.
Energy rating E
Nobody likes paying their energy bills. Amica cares about our budget and the environment, so the dishwashers feature solutions that guarantee reduced power consumption, which means lower bills. The energy consumption savings of an E rated dishwasher are 10% greater than for an F rated dishwasher. This means up to 32 more washing cycles a year at the same power consumption level. Amica dishwashers are efficient all around! Cost-efficient and ecological washing in one!
Twin-Speed motor
You can wash different items of tableware in one cycle. Those fragile tea cups need different treatment than heavy pots. Now the new brush-free motor in the Fagor dishwasher provides separate water pressure levels, so that fragile cups and glasses in the top rack are safe from damage while the pots and pans in the bottom rack see some heavy-duty washing for the thick and persistent grime. The dishwasher runs with less noise, consumes less energy, and the motor is more durable.
Autocleaning
Who likes to clean the dishwasher? We don't have to! Let our dishwasher clean itself. With a special programme for the care and cleaning of the dishwasher, we save both time and energy. The high temperature and sprinkler spin speed ensure that every nook and cranny is thoroughly cleaned. The dishwasher is now clean and fresh, and the service life extended. And we... just rest!
Short programme 20’
The stain level of different dishes often varies. If we’re preparing for a dinner party, and your cups and glasses have sat all dusty in a cupboard, you no longer have to use a long dishwashing programme! Start the Short programme 20’ so everything is fresh and clean in no time. Save time and water.
Auto programme
So many dishwashing settings to choose from... and you don’t even have to remember which to use in a given situation! The dishwasher will select the right dishwashing level to tackle the grime. A special sensor helps the dishwasher adjust the settings during the cycle and optimise the process. Just press the Auto button, and let the dishwasher do the rest.
ShineDose
You set the programme, turn the dishwasher on... and the detergent is not being dispensed as it should be, because the dishware prevents the dispenser from opening! Here the detergent dispenser features a sliding flap opening action to prevent this problem. The detergent is always released when needed, for perfect washing results and our peace of mind. The small rinse aid dispenser keeps the dishes perfectly clean and shiny, with electronic dosing of just the right amount of the rinse aid.
BlueDot
Fagor appliances are sometimes so quiet that it is hard to know if they are running or not. This is why the BlueDot LED installed at the door bottom casts a beam of light on the floor, to let you know that the dishwasher is running. When dishwashing is finished, the light starts flashing before switching off. Now you know exactly when everything is done.
Up&Down system
Can’t fit everything in? The Up&Down System helps us manage the dishwasher capacity in the way we need it. You can move the top rack up or down, and increase the overhead space for large pots or for tall cups and glasses. Now you can move the rack even when it’s fully loaded! More space, more convenience!
Start delay
Delay the start of the cycle by up to 3/6/9 h to coincide with your schedule. You can make use of economical electricity tariff hours and save money on washing your dishes.
HalfLoad
The family is off on vacation and you use fewer things. So there are fewer pots, plates and mugs to wash, but you don’t want to wait to make up a full load. You can load as little as you like, and select the HalfLoad function. Each spray arm will work alternately, everything will be clean, while you enjoy savings of up to 20% in water and energy. That's a lot for perfectly clean dishes.
Stainless steel interior
You no longer need to worry about the life of your dishwasher, with an interior made from stainless steel. Provided we use the dishwasher right, it will stay free of corrosion. There is more. Stainless steel reduces the deposition of dishwashing residues, including grease. This prevents bacterial growth. The dishes are washed really well, and are safe to use.
AquaStop
Fagor dishwashers are perfectly safe from water leaks and flooding. If there is a water leak inside the dishwasher, the AquaStop system is triggered and automatically cuts off the water supply at the dishwasher inlet. Now we can be fully confident that our dishwasher will not flood our home — or the neighbours one floor down. Everything remains under control.
IntenseClean
Well, that was a delicious meal, but what about the hard to remove grime, almost impossible to clean, which we hate. IntenseClean makes this a problem of the past. When used with compatible programmes, IntenseClean increases the washing temperature with a slightly longer programme duration. Now even the most persistent of dirt and grime gives way to a spotless shine.
Extra Drying
Do you want your dishes perfectly dry? It’s easy. Simply turn on the Extra Drying function. The drying cycle will take a bit longer than usual, but the results will be superior.
EnergySave
No one likes to pay energy bills, unless they are lower than usual. You can save energy through the cost-efficient operation of your dishwasher and with the EnergySave function on. EnergySave means that the washing programmes run a little longer at a lower water temperature. It’s about energy savings at a high washing performance.
Folding elements in the racks
You get to choose! Now you can manage the dishwasher capacity, to fit everything in just how you need it. Not enough room to fit everything in? Fold away the top rack shelves to increase the capacity. If you need more space for your pans, pots and bowls, fold away the bottom rack combs to make more space for large dishes. Both racks are designed for instant load capacity management. And you can manage the dishwasher capacity, just the way you need it.
Salt refill sensor
Ever wondered how much salt is left to soften the dishwasher water? You don't have to! Now your dishwasher will tell you. The salt refill sensor will turn on the LED indicator on the housing. No more worrying about the details, everything is taken care of!
Rinse aid refill sensor
You no longer have to wonder and check if the dishwasher has enough rinse aid in the dispenser to make your dishes shine. If the rinse aid refill LED is off, all is well. The rinse aid refill LED switches on when triggered by the sensor, to show that you need to add more rinse aid. Until that time, you have no worries about refilling at all.
WashRestart
A power failure? Well, no more restarting the entire dishwashing programme when it happens. The WashRestart saves all the settings and the exact dishwashing cycle stage to be resumed when the power comes back on.
Flooding protection system
The dishwasher is running, but can you even think of going to the shops or sitting down with your friends, leaving the dishwasher unattended? Of course you can! There is a whole system of protective features to prevent the dishwasher from flooding your home. Now you can leave it running and go out or doze off on the couch, if you like.
